Life in the field.

My head is over flooded with images from a different world.. Especially when we go around the country-side, every detail of the scenery amazes me and I can't get enough... It's like opening a window to the lives of millions of people, not only in Nepal, but all over the world, who live in the most basic way and yet are definitely happier than the 1% that lives in luxury... It's mind blowing, I feel overwhelmed.

I love my days here, they are full and interesting and fun and exciting.. I just wish I could spend the day in Nepal and the night in Cyprus. I miss my loved-one! And when I think about it, that's the only downside, but I have to try really hard not to let it ruin the experience. I don't have a choice anyway, I have to be very, very focused. This feels like an investigation job sometimes, gathering data, verifying facts, gathering information.. I love talking to so many people! They are so kind.. it might be a cliche saying "the people are so hospitable", but it really does make a difference. You feel welcomed and you feel the warmth of the people.. They are amazing. Especially the women and children.

I could write for hours today.. but report due soon.. so I have to focus my creative writing there... But a picture is worth a thousand words, so I ll start with that!
