And so it is… after more than 24 hours of hardcore traveling,
Im in Argentina.. In Buenos Aires… I never, ever, ever thought I would ever get
here. It seemed so far away… and then its only a little bit more than 24 hours,
3 flights and 1300 euros away (well still
very far away, but not impossibly..).
Such an amazing city Buenos Aires is. Huge, endless.. and oh
so vibrant… Full of corners, full of places to visit, things to see, to do.. so,
so awesome.. I realize more and more that I live in a country/village. I love
Cyprus and I got used to living there.. and noisy polluted Buenos Aires would
not make a better place to live.. but this energy, this life that this city
has, seems so foreign to anywhere in Cyprus. Its not the extreme beauty
of Prague or the elegance of Vienna or the coziness of Copenhagen.. it’s a combination
of Athenian chaos and New York vastness and it’s a change of scenery in every few
blocks and its just this feeling… a European mixed with latin American vibe…
Unique…
I know my time here is limited, and exploring is not the purpose of this trip, unfortunately.. but I want to savor every moment, inhale all the odors of the city, memorize all the beautiful corners and just talk to people.. they seem so beautiful and friendly, Argentinians.
I'm so far away from my life, once again. I really don't know how that happened... but I needed the break. Couldnt come in a better moment! A step back, to look at the world as a whole, to get a bigger perspective.. and to appreciate life once more..
Grateful!
